William and I went into a store yesterday and he was laughing at me because you could spot the tourist from a mile away. In the lamp section there I am, taking pictures. I remind myself of an Asian. Taking pictures of the most stupidist things, BUT hold on, look at these lamps and see how awesome they are!!!!

ROBIN & AMANDA!!! LOOK AT HOW FREAKIN AWESOME THIS LAMP IS!!!

Okay now these hanging lamps are AWESOME!!!! In every home we've been into, everybody has these dimly light hanging lamps from their windows and they are always SOOOOO cute! These ones have to be by far the coolest I have seen. There is a light at the top of the glass and the flower or design etched in the glass just glows!! The picture does not do ANY justice for how awesome looking they are...

Later on because the weather was pretty dull we just drove around Gellivare. We went up by the old iron mines. I thought this was such a cute little house. Because William's father is an accountant he knows who pays their taxes and who doesn't. Apparently these people don't pay their taxes and that is how they can afford such a nice house. Around back, 4 snowmobiles! JESH! Cute house. Notice how nobody manicures their lawns or has a paved driveway? It's all just gravel roads.

We went shopping, William was such a good sport, check it out I have my own clothing line:

In Sweden there are so many immigrants from Africa it is unbelievable. A few months ago Williams father found 3 African girls that he felt bad for and took them in to his home. He loves it because they cook and clean and do his laundry for him. He calls them his "African Queens" and his favorite he calls "Queen." They are not used to the cold at all. I was laughing when they said they were going to go for a walk and it was about 50* outside, and one of the queens was wearing one of Williams older sisters coats....

Well that's all for now, William apparently has a surprise for me, some place he wants to take me, so Carrie, be ready for more pictures!!! I'm glad more people are reading this than I thought, I thought it was only Carrie reading it.
Here is 1 last picture I will leave you with... the view out of my bedroom window...

Happy birthday Dad!!! (... yesterday)

Who is THAT post from? Is it spam?
Where do you think William is going to take you??
How much are those flat, glass lamps with the etched flowers? You definitely need to buy one as a souvenir!
No, bring home the door in William's home that you posted. I love it. The oblong black and white lamp with back light is cool, too. Good job, kiddo! Can't wait until the new Ikea opens here this week...
