Last Wekeend

Started off last Friday showing up at work and being told we could go home because they triple over staffed the plant... 3 people per 1 job.

I went home and that's when it all got started! It was the "Get Over William Weekend!" and let me tell you it WORKED! I had been doing so great, no crying or anything but I still missed him.

Kelsey, from upstairs came down to our apartment. She was very jealous because I decorated it and well, it's cute! She wanted to decorate hers... so off to Michaels and WalMart we go. Being in college, you decorate on a budget and WalMart is THE place to go. haha. It ended up being we just goofed off and laughed a lot... (MAKE AMELIA LAUGH - Check!)



We found some hideous place mats! Kelsey found them great as a lovely hat!



We went to Michael's and spent way way way too much time in there. However we did find a fabulous cute halloween dog that we've named Mr. Sparkles... he is a Halloween Mummy Dog. You press his paw and he barks and growls. Patches of fur stick out the mummy wrap on him. It's hideous. His eyes light up red when you press the button.



We gave it to the guys who live below us. He is The Nottingham Apartment Mascot! We scared Clint pretty bad with the dog. We put the dog in front of apartment #2's window (basement apartment) and hit the paw. They could not figure out what the crap Mr. Sparkles was! I totally blinded Clint when I took this picture. He loves me!




So Kelsey, Shasta, Sara (another girl from another apartment in our builiding) and I all got cozy and began to watch the 5th season of Gilmore Girls. Kelsey wanted the curtains we have in our apartment and we went back to WalMart for the 2nd time at 1a.m. We found some more great things to clown around with again. Like this killer wobbly walking stick Shasta found.


We even put together a really awesome collage of dried plants... we thought it looked pretty sweet... and then we never bought it... I didn't like the vase and I wanted a real plant for our apartment.



So off to home we go. When at 3a.m. Kelsey and Shasta and I got some cravings for cookies. So yes at 3a.m. we were off to WalMart for the 3rd time. Around this time we were just being retarded annoying college kids the old people hate!



As soon as the guys downstairs smelled cookies, up they came. So at 3a.m. we've got 4 guys, plus their friend, kelsey, whitney (kelsey's friend) and Shasta and I at 3a.m. rockin' out to music. What a better way to end a night than to watch Talladega Nights with cute guys in your apartment and your best girlfriends eating sugar cookies!

Well after hours of laughing with the guys at 4:30a.m. we call it a night. Saturday morning we wake up pretty late and in comes hyper Kelsey all ready for another day of fun.

We decided the lamps in our apartment were fugly (that means freaking ugly). For only 94 cents we could change that! We bought black spray paints and created a masterpiece, on the sidewalk that is. We forgot to put down newspapers... whoops... soon it will snow and you won't be able to see it! Right?



We also bought a giant plant for our apartment. We were a little confused and to how we were going to get it home, when realized the magic word, SUNROOF! You can see Kelsey rockin' out in the back, haha. It's kind of hard to see sorry!



We had way too much fun with it in the car...



The looks we got as we drove down main street with a giant tree popping outta the sunroof was priceless!



After we spray painted and moved our our apartment we were quite pleased with the outcome! We left the front door open and the rest of the day was like a revolving door of people coming in and watching movies with us while we studied... I must say it is a very cozy apartment and we get SO many compliments!!!




Later that night we went a RAGING fun bonfire... way too much fun.



We were afraid of leaving Mr. Sparkles home alone... you can see just how cute he is!



Around 4a.m. is when we passed out .... Shasta beat us all. She didn't even make it to the bed, the floor was good enough for her!



To top it all off I got to see my Mom....


Robin was in Utah saying hi to all before she went back to school at BYU-Idaho. She did my hair real cute by putting my bangs up in a pony tail... I have a whale spout!


All in all it was the best weekend ever. I am SO happy I'm single and free. It was desperately needed and I realized how greatful I am that I don't have William around. My girlfriends are ALL I need right now, not some annoying guy that only wants to sit at home all weekend long!
Heart broken NO longer! I am very well again...
