Family

When going through a hard time, coming home to family is the best thing in the world. Robin is sure to put a smile on your face and get you to crack a laugh.

She set the dinner table last night, thankfully my Dad was at a business dinner or else he would have made her reset the table properly. Everybody had our kiddie placemats and a very creative fork, spoon and knife and not to mention plate!

This plate was the turkey platter for Thanksgiving. Notice the spoon, a children's medicine measuring cup... this was my Mom's place setting...

This was Kerri Lindsey's seat... she got a good plate however we loved the goblet for a drinking glass...

She was a very hungry lil girl with her pizza plate to eat fajitas on!

I was a fan of how she served the refried beans for the fajitas!

We also had pistachio pudding which she served in cupcake paper holders that were placed in the cupcake panPhoto Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

And to top it all off, the cheese was served in our Thanksgiving gravy bowl.

It's been so much fun being home just getting my mind off of everything and missing Sweden. Today Robin, David and I went to Paint the Town, where we painted some pottery. Going with Robin is no fun because hers always looks like a professional. So a tip for you all... don't ever go do any artsy fartsy stuff with Robin!

Here I attempt to make mine look 1/2 as cool as hers!

But I failed... I'm still happy with it

Wow--Robin must have taken all my creativity...I love these place settings. I keep hearing we need to think "outside the box," and she definitely did that. But, Amelia, I really like your pottery, too!!
