Graduation...

Yesterday, I completed my 3rd week of training with DIRECTV. After weeks of learning everything to do on people's account, I left the safe little training room and went out onto the main call floor. So nervous I thought I was going to loose control of my bladder, I hit the green button and I took my very first call. I love how the second I heard the person's voice, everything I've learned in the 3 weeks of training... just vanished. My mind went totally blank. I talked to some lady for 45 minutes who proceeded to tell me that she told her husband that if he came out alive after his lung transplant that she'd get him DIRECTV. Haha, so I worked setting up their programming because he didn't die, weird. I loved working in a call center before just because of all the RAD stories I got to go home with.

When I graduated training I was given a blue diploma (awww) and a gift from DIRECTV, a Soprano's 2007 calendar. Never watched the show but, hey whatev.
