Alright well let's get started!
We'll finish our trip to Kiruna. We drove 40 minutes outside of Kiruna to a place called Nikkaloukta. Here is a lapland village where there is an awesome lapland church
and the start of the pathway to Sweden's highest mountain, Kebnekaise, you walk under the frame of an old lapland tent to enter the trail...
We entered the church and it was amazing. No electricity there were candles everywhere where lights would be on the walls. The bench to kneal on and pray to Christ was made of reindeer skin that had been beaten and worked smooth.
I saw sitting on the pulpit an ancient looking bible.
I opened it up to find the date... 1887!
The detail inside was incredible, so beautiful and you could feel how the letters were pressed on with ink, just incredible!
This is their tithe box, made of birch and the white you see in raindeer antler horn!
The view of the mountains were so gorgeous...
There was a stone with beautiful benches made of the same stone that overlooked the view of the picture above. The stone had a great message engraved in it...
Translation done by William Winsa :o)
Let the mountain wind touch your cheek
Let the rain wash your face
Let mountain wind blow the heart clean
Come and see the playful light
And the shining heaven glow
Come, play with mountain wind
Don't be afraid, go far away!
Don't be afraid, wind (will) show the way!
Let the mountain wind touch the cheek, come!

Now, let's hop back on the train....
And go 4 hours north to Lulea again!
The gorgeous little Stockholm on the sea...
Where POSSIBLY the greatest person ever lived, lived...
Haha of course we love NORDSTROMS!
In Lulea we went into what I think is a GORGEOUS church! I personally loved the detail EVERYWHERE...
Once inside the doors the breezeway doors were incredible stone and gold leaves on vines
Awesome chandelier!
We totally got the organ beat in the tabernacle...but still this is pretty lavish and beautiful!
Also, the Queen noticed I had a big wart on my finger and told me she had some medicine (from who knows where!) to fix it... I have burned off this wart so many times I can't remember so I figured what the heck! Well I woke up the next morning to a BLACK finger... literally I would know what I would look like if I was African-American now...
Don't get a woozy stomach it really doesn't hurt at all, I just cover it up with a bandaid to save stares!
The best part of it is, when I fell asleep that night, I didn't realize that I slept with my hands touching my face and man oh man I have this crap that WON'T WASH OFF!!!!
My warts do not hurt, the blackened skin doesn't have a different texture compared to my normal skin... it doesn't hurt, it is just REALLY and I mean REALLY bizzare looking!!!
I have tried everything from paint remover, to paint thinner to nail polish to soap and water to straight alcohol... nothing gets it off!!! So finally I took my pumice stone into the suana last night with me and that's been the best way to get it off... JESH!!!! I joke and say that living with Africans it rubbing off on me, literally!!!
Seriously this is NOT a joke.

That is a hysterical story about your blackened finger! Are you sure the Queen isn't playing a joke on you??
